Safe Driving During the Holidays

The holiday season is a time of celebrations, family, and friends. Many of us are ready to kick back, enjoy holiday gatherings, and share in the festive spirit. But as we gear up for this special time, remember to celebrate safely.

Drinking and driving isn’t just risky—it’s deadly. A single wrong decision can have profound or unthinkable consequences that change lives forever. If your plans include holiday drinks, please choose to use a rideshare, designate a sober driver, or plan another safe way to get home. I implore you to look out for one another and ensure we all get home safely to our families.

We all play a role in keeping Moreno Valley safe. So, please be sure to share this message with your friends, family, and neighbors. If you see someone about to make an unsafe choice, speak up and remind them of the importance of a safe ride home. One conversation could make all the difference in the world.

This holiday season, we should enjoy every celebration to the fullest, but always with responsibility, and make safety our top priority. Together, we can make this a season of joy and safe choices.

Happy Holidays, Moreno Valley! Let’s make it a memorable one for all the right reasons.
