Security Team Readies for New Year

The safety and security of our students and staff is MVUSD’s top priority every day. Protocols are reviewed regularly and improvements are added to security systems regularly.

As part of the district’s commitment to safety, our campus security officers attended three days of training to prepare for any situation that may arise.

The teams met with Moreno Valley Police Sergeant Tejeda to learn more about the collaboration with MVPD’s School Resource Officers and build a relationship between the police department and district security department.

“Parents are concerned that their students are safe at school every day,” said Board Member Gary Baugh, “Regular safety training will ensure our schools are some of the safest places in our community.”
