Serving Up with Cheer Spirit

This past weekend the Cheer squad from Vista Del Lago set up their tables and pulled up their sleeves for a breakfast fundraiser at Applebees.

In the weeks before cheerleaders sold tickets for $10 a piece. The money collected from the ticket sells goes to the squad to be used for their funding for competitions, uniforms, and transportation.

The team did an amazing job in raising $300 for their squad. The turnout at the restaurant was great as families and friends filled the restaurant to be served up a hearty breakfast. There were even guests from the school district and school board members who were in attendance.

As some of the girls greeted and seated the guests, others served up the food and waited on the tables throughout the morning. With smiles on everyone’s face and plates full of pancakes and syrup, the team was able to raise funds to help them for this second half of the school year.
