SIX SCHOOLS AND NINETEEN STUDENTS RECOGNIZED

Six Riverside Unified schools and 19 students were recognized as the September Winners for Most Improved Chronic Absenteeism Rate, Most Improved Student Groups, and Outstanding Attendance from RUSD's Pupil Services Attendance Division and Altura Credit Union.

The attendance awards are part of this year's Attendance Matter's Showing Up Together campaign, which aims to improve positive attendance and reduce chronic absenteeism in RUSD.

Altura Credit Union has supported RUSD's attendance initiatives since 2022.

The three categories for recognition are:

  1. Outstanding Attendance or Positive Attendance (TK-12)
  2. Most Improved Chronic Absenteeism Rate (K-8)
  3. Most Improved Student Groups (TK-12)
    • English Learners
    • Students with Disabilities
    • Foster Youth

    • Students with Disabilities
  • Poly High School
    • Foster Youth
