Supervisor's Message: Child Support Awareness Month

Dear District 5 Residents,

As we move forward through Child Support Awareness Month, I want to take a moment to reflect on what this means for our community and for the countless children and families it affects.

Child support is more than a legal obligation; it is a binding commitment to our children's well-being, growth, and future. It's about assuring our children that they are not alone, that they are loved, and that their dreams are worth believing in.

Our Riverside County Department of Child Support Services plays a crucial role in this endeavor. Their department offers numerous services, including assistance with establishing paternity, modifying support orders, and providing employment resources for parents. Their dedication goes beyond the call of duty to ensure that every child in Riverside County feels the warmth of support, love, and care.

Whether you're a parent who needs assistance in understanding your responsibilities or someone who wants to contribute to this cause, there's a place for you in this communitywide effort.

Together, we can make Child Support Awareness Month more than just a title on the calendar; we can make it a movement, a wave of compassion and understanding that spreads throughout our community.

With heartfelt appreciation,

Sincerely,

Yxstian Gutierrez

County Supervisor
