City Now Accepting Applications for Recreational Trails Board

The city of Moreno Valley is now accepting applications for the Recreational Trails Board. The appointees shall be bona fide residents of Moreno Valley at the time of appointment and throughout their incumbencies and will serve without compensation for designated terms. In addition, the appointees shall attend at least one meeting prior to the appointment (this requirement does not apply to the Accessibility Appeals Board). RECREATIONAL TRAILS BOARD 1 term - June 30, 2017 1 term - June 30, 2018 The Recreational Trails Board considers matters pertaining to single-use and multi-use recreational trails, including bicycle, jogging and equestrian trails within or affecting the city. Meetings are scheduled on the fourth Wednesday of each odd-numbered month at 5 p.m. in the Conference and Recreation Center located at 14075 Frederick Street in Moreno Valley. Meetings are scheduled on the fourth Monday of each month at 6 p.m., City Hall - Council Chamber, 14177 Frederick St. The City Council encourages residents to apply for these positions. Applications are available on the city's website (Commissions page) and at the City Clerk's Department, located at 14177 Frederick St., Moreno Valley, during regular business hours (7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday). Applications must be received in the City Clerk's Department no later than 4:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 8, 2016. For further information, please call (951)413-3001.
