Perhaps one of the most famous fairy tales of all time, is that of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The story goes as follows, a wicked step-mother grows jealous of her beautiful step-daughter and has her killed. Managing to survive her ordeal, Snow White begins living in the forest, where she meets the Dwarfs. Eventually, her evil step-mother catches up with Snow White and poisons her. True Loves kiss saves her and she lives happily ever after.

However, in the version presented by Yucaipa Little Theater, Snow White, played by thirteen year old Chloe Galope, experiences a different set of events.

While the play did feature an evil step-mother, played by Tori Polly, the beautiful Snow White did not meet with the Seven Dwarfs. Instead, she meets with several familiar Fairytale characters, including Peter Pan, played by Matthias Urquidies, Al, played by Gabriel Urquidies, Merry, played by Emiyah Burroughs, Belle, played by Nicki Rogers, Cindy, played by Rylnn Burgess, Rose, played by Janessa Polly, Thumper, played by Charity Roy, and a host of other colorful characters.

Together, the Fairytale friends use their wits to try and outsmart the evil queen, while the huntsman, played by Anthony Ruiz is put on trial by all of the woodland creatures.

In the end, good reigns supreme and the wicked step-mother is defeated by the Guinevere/Fairy God-Mother, played by Karlie McCue.

The show, written by Clay Presley, offered a delightful twist on a classic tale, one that had parents roaring with laughter.

The play served as actor Alexia Bradshaw's directorial debut, and was, judging by the smiles on the faces of those in the audience,  an all around success.  "It was an extraordinary Ride," said Alexia. "And it all came all together at the end."

Bradshaw thanked her production team, the parents and her family for all their support in helping to make this event possible.

Bradshaw was born in Riverside, California but raised in Moreno Valley. She has been acting for upwards of seven years. She recently graduated with her degree in theater from Cal Baptist University.
