Every year, millions of animals find themselves in shelters, longing for a forever home. By opting to adopt from a shelter rather than purchasing from breeders or pet stores, individuals play a pivotal role in reducing euthanasia rates and offering a second chance to these innocent beings. Each adoption not only saves the life of the adopted animal but also creates space for another animal in need, thus perpetuating a cycle of compassion and hope. Our Pet of the Week is Raven, a 9-year-old female German Shepherd-Rottweiler mix. She has plenty of fun tricks in her repertoire, and she L-O-V-E-S playing fetch with a tennis ball! She's comfortable on a leash and is already microchipped and spayed.
