Time Warner Cable Converts MVTV-3 to a Digital Broadcast Signal

On Oct. 8, Time Warner Cable (TWC) converted the following channels to a digital-only format of delivery:
• MVTV-3 (Ch. 3) to KXLA-IND (Ch. 19)
• KDOC-IND (Ch .6) to KVMD-IND (Ch. 23)
• KTBN-TBN (Ch.15) to KJLA-LATV (Ch. 27)
• Moreno Valley Channel (Ch.16) to KPXN-ION (Ch. 30)
• KRCC Moreno Valley College (Ch. 17) to KILM-FilmOn (Ch. 32)
These channels will remain in subscribers’ existing packages. However, they will only be viewable with digital equipment, such as a TWC-supplied digital set-top box, digital adapter or Cable CARD.
Those requiring a digital adapter should call Time Warner Cable at 855-286-1736 for residential customers and 877-892-2220 for Business Class customers. Time Warner Cable is offering the digital adapters free of charge initially, but beginning January 1, 2015, the cost will rise to 99 cents per month for each adapter.
Those with a digital-ready television or a TV with a digital cable tune (QAM or ClearQAM) will be able to view programming with additional equipment on the following channels:
• MVTV-3 on Digital Channel 3, QAM Channel 98.222
• Moreno Valley Channel on Digital Channel 17, QAM Channel 98.221
• KRCC-MV College on Digital Channel 17, QAM Channel 98.229
